Ephemera Editions was founded as a label
under which to publish The Quarterly Ephemera – a magazine of
ideas and the arts; a journal dedicated to undermining
those widespread opinions which tacitly hold that literary magazines,
particularly little literary magazines, are somehow lesser than their
wider-circulating cousins, that their writing is somewhat worse, that
their opinions are somehow parochial, that they publish the otherwise
unpublishable, that their mission is one of charity, and that, despite
their best intentions, they perpetuate the blight of bad writing. |
Our first book, Nizaket Ali's collection: 'Effra & other short stories' was published July 30th, 2007. |
